    Postdoctoral Fellow – AI and Machine Learning for Power Systems

    Winston Chung Global Energy Center (WCGEC) and the Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Institute (RAISE)

     

    We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position focused on advancing the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in power systems.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Working knowledge of electric power systems.

    • Strong background in AI/ML methods and familiarity with the state-of-the-art.

    • Experience working with large datasets.

    • Strong publication record.

    • Ability to conduct independent research and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in cyber-security, especially as it relates to energy systems.

    • Skills in analytical methods, stochastic modeling, and optimization.

    The successful candidate will engage in collaborative research between the Winston Chung Global Energy Center (WCGEC) and the Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Institute (RAISE).
